Kuala Lumpur FA has withdrawn their participation in the series of friendlies held for Negri preparation for the Malaysia Cup this month.
On a fantastic note however, Negri will host the S-League leader, Singapore Armed Forces on Thursday the 17th of September 2009.
Singapore Armed Forces are currently on a course to win their fourth S-League title in a row and represented in AFC Cup this year.
All matches will be played at Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium in Paroi.
The new fixtures are as following:
- Negri Sembilan vs Malaysia Armed Forces – Saturday , 12th September 2009 at 2145
- Negri Sembilan vs Singapore Armed Forces – Thursday, 17th September 2009 at 2145

As you might have noticed, Batu Ompek Paroi have adapted a few changes involving its layout to improve the navigability around the blog.
The new features include photo of the week section on top of the right hand column, a new chatter box if you want to say hello, also on the right hand column and a notice board (as you can see above in green) on top of the page to remind you upcoming matches, events as well as announcements.
What am most excited about is the incorporation and utilisation of Tweeter in the weblog so I would try and give you updates on the team news, scores, cards, fouls and substitutions as it happens-pretty much like the vidiprinters you get off the BBC Matchday Live!

Negri players in Laos SEA Games preparation
Many congratulations to S. Kunalan and the twins, Aidil and Zaquan Razak on the national team call-ups for the coming international friendlies announced yesterday.
Malaysia will play China and Kenya on the 12th and 15th of August respectively at Shah Alam Stadium before flying to Riyadh to play Saudi Arabia on the eve of Merdeka Day.
