Negri curtained down their Ramadhan friendly series with an entertaining 2-2 draw against Singapore Armed Forces FC in Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium last night.
S. Kunalan and Zaquan Razak who have just returned from the national squad duties scored one a piece in each halves.
Please note that the friendly against Singapore Armed Forces FC is scheduled back one day ahead to Wednesday, 16th of September 2009 at 2145.

Nyamuk headed in a fantastic corner by Arif Ismail to save Negri from blushes in a friendly match held against the Armed Forces at Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium last night.
Despite having better possessions throughout the match, Negri forwards weren’t dangerous enough in the last attacking third of the field in a game what was supposed to be a shooting practice day out for the lads in red.
Kuala Lumpur FA has withdrawn their participation in the series of friendlies held for Negri preparation for the Malaysia Cup this month.
On a fantastic note however, Negri will host the S-League leader, Singapore Armed Forces on Thursday the 17th of September 2009.
Singapore Armed Forces are currently on a course to win their fourth S-League title in a row and represented in AFC Cup this year.
All matches will be played at Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium in Paroi.

Negri held onto their nerves and once again kept a clean sheet to an entertaining 2-0 win despite UPB-MyTeam putting on late pressures on Negri defence.
Shahurain Samah who missed a few clear chances in the last Saturday friendly against KL Plus, clearly did not forget to bring along his shooting boots tonight.
